Pastillas De Leche (Cooked Version)
Pastillas De leche is a favorite Filipino sweet. Traditionally pastillas de leche is made from fresh carabao’s milk and sugar. Milk mixture is cooked until it reduced (you need to keep stirring the milk) and turns into a caramel color. After it cool they are shape or cut into bite size pieces and roll into sugar before wrapping it in colorful Japanese paper or cellophane. The other version of pastillas doesn’t need cooking. You just combine powdered milk and condensed milk and mix until it forms into a dough.

Pastillas de leche can also become a business that you can start at your own home. It can also be a perfect gift during holidays or special occasion. And you can also just enjoy this sweets at home with your family.
