It doesn't work. Why can't you give other options when there's no box to check or uncheck.

Here's the issue: I WANT to have the CTRL+ALT+DEL requirement on every logon but something keeps resetting my local Security Policy back to 'Enabled', meaning 'disable the logon requirement for CTRL+ALT+DEL.' I have to reset that option at Secpol every time before I logout so that I can have the CTRL+ALT+DEL on the next reboot.

As well, I made sure the checkbox is checked (it's checked and greyed out) on the 'Advanced' tab at the User Account to have the CTRL+ALT+DEL on.

Also, in the registry, I went to NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon and checked to make sure the DisableCAD is set to 0. [To Enable Secure Logon, type 0.] I don't what else I can to do at this point.

I'm on a Win10 box, i7, Win10 64-bit Enterprise LTSC. Is it the OS? Does anyone have an idea on what I can do for this issue? Think it's malware? Is there a .bat program I can use to enable this automatically?

Thank you....my screen name was showing up at log in so I entered it and the password but it never worked. However when I put my email (Microsoft account name) and redid it it did work....just in case anyone else hits the same snag and thinks this doesn't work.

SOLUTION: It's a 2-step process. You must turn the login off in TWO PLACES, #1)at startup AND #2)after it sleeps. If you just do #1 it will still ask for your pin after computer sleeps. Do both and it won't ask you ever, not at startup and not after it sleeps. Instructions for
both are simple below:
#1) HOW TO TURN OFF LOGIN at startup only:
Windows key + r
Type in “netplwiz”
then remove check in box “Users must enter a user name and password to
use this computer”

#2) HOW TO TURN OFF LOGIN AFTER SLEEPS:
Start> type in “sign-in options”
This is also the only thing that worked for me - Windows 10 HOME
edition.
1. click windows button
2. Type Sign-in options
3. When you have been away... choose "Never"

But I can not stay in Windows. When I put my PIN, it is taking me out of login screen, and it takes me back to the login screen . So I can not log in in Windows. I thought was a virus, so I did clean installation of Windows from a USB, but I still have the dame problem. Any idea what it could be? And why I still have the dame problem after the clean Windows 10 .
