'if you're vegan why are you trying so hard to make stuff that tastes like meat?' I'm vegan for the animals and the environment not because I don't like the taste of animal products, therefore I have no problem eating the plant based versions of my favorite foods.

I absolutely love real meat and I'd definitely try this. Currently what puts me off vegetarianism and veganism is the lack of an enjoyable protein substitute - I really don't like tofu or anything like that. But if this was available I'd strongly consider it instead of a regular burger, because I know how bad animal farming can be for the environment.

I don't know why you wouldn't be vegan.. its literally better than eating meat and animal products in every way

If they sold this as ground "meat" in all grocery stores-at an affordable price-then I believe more people would be open to a plant based diet after substituting beef for this. I don't know if they have, but it would be cool to see them produce other beef products like steak and roast, for example, the same way. It would also be cool to see them expand to poultry and fish as well.
