Meet the Fake Burger that 'Bleeds'

One startup believes it's cracked the code on fake meat that looks like meat, bleeds like meat, and even sizzles on the grill. WSJ's Evelyn Rusli stops by Impossible Foods for a taste.

As a vegan, I get sick when I eat anything that tastes too much like real meat so this is personally too much for me, but for people that love meat, blood and all, I would be MORE than happy to support this for the transition to be easier for them.

For all these post about where "suppose" to be omnivores it's dumb. I'm a omnivore and I disagree with them 100%. We're doing so many things that we're not "suppose to do" we sit all day eat chemicals that wouldn't ever be in anything food related naturally, we crap on pots and use complex systems to get rid of our waste. There is nothing dictating what where "suppose to do" we do what we think is right "as humans" and things change over time. For better or for worse at least we learn and advance and I think in the end that's one of the things that make us human.

Slightly ridiculous, never really understood why people from the "vegan club" talk so loudly about how much meat products make them vomit, yet they spend ridiculous amount of money on goofy veggie clones of typical meat dishes - whats so hard about simply eating simple vegetables then? Chemically designed food alternatives, eh. Yet surely marketing revolves in circles. Remember the times of skimmed milk and margarine? Where are they now?
