After having all the stuff in a closet for 5 years, I decided to pull it out and put it together and start flying. I am a complete noob with electric and I would have never been able to figure it all out (still figuring it out) without this particular video. Thank you so much for putting out a video for someone who is completely starting from scratch. Much appreciated. Mike from Texas

This post is old. I'm guess I'm old. RC has come a long way from what I remember. Crystal radios and the like. How far we've come, just the fact that you can click on YouTube and instantly get all this info is pretty amazing. Kids don't know how good they have it. Thanks for getting me back into the hobby Josh & Flight Test! You guys do some pretty boss crashing, I mean flying heh heh.

At last. As a newbie I have been a tad confused by some of the electronics and other videos try to explain, but somehow I still couldn't work it out. This video is fantastic as it shows the correct way to connect everything up, in a neat concise manner. I can now go ahead with my P38L and get it finished. Well done Josh

It may be an old post, yes i am old now but it is the only one I have seen that has helped me to get the throttle/motor to work full stop. I do look at the videos often and really enjoy what Flite Test put out. Thanx Josh, really helpful for us UK builders.

I think these types of videos are very useful. Great presentation Josh.
The direction of the prop depends if you are facing forward or aft when looking for CW or CCW.
Sometimes a mechanical reversing of the servo is also possible by removing the arm and putting it back on 180 degree. If you have the linkage clearance this can be another option.

I was thinking to myself Josh is suddenly looking too young, what happened! Then scrolled up and found that the video was uploaded 12 years ago 😅 YT suddenly decided to push it to my homepage. You are aging gracefully my brother

That was very informative. I'm in the process of building my first plane. I'm going to start out with a simulator while I wait on my electronics to get in. You guys have inspired me to get into this hobby. Thanks for your wealth of information. I really enjoy watching your videos.

I like your videos. Really helpful for a guy like me who is used to glow engines but now wanting to get into electric flying. Fed up tinkering with carbs and cleaning oily planes.

This was a great video for newbies or folks that hadn't done this in a while (my hand is up at this point). Well done, simple to understand.

Nice work guys, great video for newcomers, it's amazing how quickly we take info like this for granted.

Good stuff! I'm thinking of getting back into RC after 30 years. Used to fly 2 stroke fuel planes forever ago, but looks like electric is probably the way to go these days. The electronics have come a long way!
