Watercolor vs Gouache! (What's the difference?)

What's the difference between Watercolor and Gouache? This short video will tell you the basics.

I use gouache and prefer it to watercolour. I can usually get a water colour layering effect when thinned out with water. I find it easier to be able to paint light over dark, especially when painting leaves on trees or light reflections on water.

I have done a few Gauche paintings but I find it difficult not to disturb the under colour when painting layers. I will look forward to your tutorials
