The way gouache got described to me when I was learning how to use it was if acrylic paint and watercolour had a baby

If you look at medieval manuscripts, you can se examples of how gouache is used. I still paint miniatures with it. Love using it better than watercolors.

The gouache seems more like acrylic or something than watercolor.

Well actually when you use watercolor you cannot use pure white you can only use it to make lighter colors thats actually a rule

It's gotten to the point that people can't use certain color combinations without it meaning something in the LGBTQ+ community. Last time I checked, they don't own those colors.
Can't someone just paint the color combinations they like and not have it tie into their sexuality/identity?
