I've had both a 69 and a 70! The 70 has 140 mph on speedometer! As a teenager I had a young lady piss me off so when I left the place we were I let her roll! They will do 140 mph I can testify to that!!! Not sure what gear ratio I had maybe 3:55 don't know!!! Had a friend that had a beautiful 69 convertible turquoise with white interior with 3 speed! You could be running 70 mph and drop it down in second and spin the he'll out of the tires!! There used to be alot of goats around my home town!!! Miss those days

I actually prefer the styling of the 68-69 GTOs, but the 70 RA IV was when the factory horsepower ratings peaked. I never liked the endura nose on the 70-72 GTOs. I would've opted for the endura delete and got the chrome LeMans front bumper if I was buying a brand new 70 GTO

Quietest shutting doors on a 70 gto I ever saw, this might be the one color on a gto judge that I'd probably prefer not have the stripes on sides, would look better no stripes with the silver paint
