This one is exactly like the one “Kevin Pickford” drives in the 1993 movie “Dazed And Confused”.

Congratulations, That's a dream on 4 wheels.
Wont see that ride trying to get out of a snow bank in Minnesota.. Bought my first car in 1977, a '68 GTO 3 speed manual in very good condition for $800.. Geez i miss the old days.

I remember those cars. But THIS one is the absolute best; so much better than what came from the dealer.

Remember seeing this and all other muscle cars just driving down the street when I was a kid. Jeez, I'm old.

i know a guy that has a 70 Ram Air IV, black with sandalwood, auto. All original with 22k on it. Amazing car. Can't believe how the paint looks like it is 3 years old but its 53 years young.

That makes me miss my '71 T-37. May not be the big money car, but it still looked the part. I always loved the Pontiac fender lines, grills and headlights.

THIS Pontiac was expensive when ordered in 69/70. BEING a convertible and a Ram Air 4 engine, and a Judge car.

It's kind of crazy but I remember a local family that was really into hot cars back in the late 70's & 80's. This friend of mines sister had a red 70 GTO convertible with 4 speed and I remember they took a 1500 mile or so trip to go buy this GTO. Back then where I live only had 20K or so people and this car was one of the hottest cars in town at the time. Anyhow I don't remember the exact price they paid for the GTO back then but it wasn't really crazy money or anything. Wow now these cars really bring the money!

Just because you have tons of cash, doesn't mean you're intelligent.

I guess it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. It's all subjective but it's a beautiful car. A third pedal and an M-22 would have made it 100% IMO. That orbit orange looks a lot better on that body than on a school bus or Caterpillar 😀

I believe the record price prior to this was $625, 000 for a black one formerly owned by Steve Ames.
