Here in Australia 🇦🇺 PayPal stopped supporting their card readers a little while ago. This is gunna be sweet when Apple releases it. I have no idea why PayPal would regress as far as allowing the ability to be accepting cards. As a society we have to make sure that this doesn’t give governments the chance to end cash!!! Just look at what’s happening in Ukraine 🇺🇦, they need cash, we can never get rid of it. All of these financial platforms can and should be able to live together.

Sounds good, looks good and all but I’m afraid to attach any debit card to my phone again ever since I had $235 stolen a few years ago. They made it look like it was all Apple store purchases but I knew that wasn’t right because I hadn’t bought anything and Apple always sends receipts when I do. this time there were no receipts totaling $235. I still don’t know how they did that and have never used a debit card in my phone since.

Hello! May I ask a question? "Tap to pay in iOS 15.4" - can we send money to for instance family member or a friend (to their card that is added to their apple wallet) ? Or it is just for buying something, just merchant mining?
