The okra soup that’s slimy in texture is the Ogbono Soup. The Eba dough is also popularly known as Garri, which is made from cooked cassava flour. The one you called Fufu is actually Pounded Yam that’s made from boiling and pounding West African yams, just like you would mashed potatoes. The Banga, Egusi, and Efo Riro look delicious.

Pounded yam or Amala is such a heavier meal of choice. Even though amala is healthier because it’s made from plantain rather pounded yam that comes from yam which is high in carbs. Eba is more lighter and because Eba can be prepared in a white or yellow form depending where you get your cassava from the flavor alters. I tasted both and yellow Eba just like yellow pounded yam is a game changers. I’m fortunate my mom and dad are from two different tribes in Nigeria so I’m well versed.
