As a Nigerian, it's so heart warming to see some of my fave people on the internet enjoy the the food I love and grew up with.
About the pregnant friend anecdote, yes, it is quite common to give pregnant women malt. At least in my life experience. My mum claims that it helps with milk production.

Imagine they kept drinking bottles and bottles of Palm wine thinking it’s sweet then wake up with a massive hangover 😂

You people are really bold to be talking while eating Nigerian food

Your wind pipe: "Don't do this to me"

As a Nigerian, Fufu with stew is cultist behavior 😂
Amazing content❤

This may be weird, but I really enjoy the fact that they all make inside references and talk about relationships and friendships that we will never know about. So many creators just work together and don't like one another and don't get involved in others' personal lives, but you can tell these people are all actual friends. That's what really makes the show great every time.

I’m surprised Josh drank the pepper soup from the bowl and didn’t even cough or turn red. He def has some Nigerian genes 😂

I’m Ghanaian, but Josh is the type of white guy to date. He is so open to the culture, I love it!

Nice content. Just a few corrections.
1. It is Palm Wine and not Palm Juice. It is tapped from Palm trees.
2. Fufu is different from Pounded yam. Pounded yam is made from pounding yam, while Fufu is made from processed cassava.
3. We eat the red stew mainly with white rice. Yorubas eat it with their Ewedu soup (and gbegiri), fish, assorted meat or goat meat (the best soup to eat with Amala).
Glad you enjoyed the food 😊

I like Nicole being 'Oh no I spilled some' while Josh meanwhile has his entire hand in the bowl.

My university would host an International Foodfest and invite students from the 48 countries that were represented in our student body to prepare dishes from their countries, and one of the Nigerian students would always make the red stew with goat meat and it is seriously one of the most amazing things I have ever eaten. They also made a fish stew that had tomatoes and peppers that was incredibly tasty as well. Shoutout and lots of love to all the Nigerian folks out there and thank you for sharing your cuisine! 💚🤍💚

As a Nigerian, the errors are there but not worth mentioning since the joy of you experiencing all that is equally visible. It's like seeing a kid take his first few steps. Even though its usually wobbly and all, you dont tell the kid to walk straight. It warmed my heart seeing you guys have so much love for the food. Fun fact! if you let the palm juice ferment, it becomes alcoholic and that is palm wine. finally Divine Oduduru is Nigerian not Jamaican

As a nigerian, it's so refreshing to see people eat our food. Also, the red stew is for white rice!!!
