This is specifically West African food. I’m Nigerian and it’s pronounced egusi (e-goo-see) and okra (oh-kra) soup.
For breakfast maybe try some garri and moi moi/or yam & fried egg with stew, for lunch maybe some white rice, stew and chicken or some pepper soup, yam, and goat meat, and for dinner some jollof or fried rice, meat pie, and plantain with some suya or assorted meat, and dessert some puff puff and then if you want a snack have some chin-chin. For something to drink you have to get Malt for sure. There’s multiple kinds of it, but the one I usually drink is the Vita Malt. You’re welcome 😊

For Breakfast: yam and eggs

As someone who grew up with both an African family (dads side) and Arab family (moms side) I can tell y'all I been eating good my entire life. When we eat Fufu my dad is always the one that makes it while my mom makes the sauce. Actually in my family a lot of them grew up in Tanzania and speak Swahili so we also eat Ugali which is similar to fufu.
Fun Fact:my dad is actually from Rwanda

For Breakfast: Try Akara with bread and milo tea
Lunch: Jollof rice with peppered goat meat and meat pie or moi moi
Dinner: Garri (dry garri) with vegetable soup
Snack: garri(wet/water filled garri)and sugar with peanuts/ puff puff/ chin chin/ plantain chips.
Beverage: try some malt, or fanta
I am Nigerian btw and to find these foods try going to a local African store.
