as a former bartender, if you think something is up - TALK TO THE STAFF. we want to help, and want to keep you safe. our patrons are our number 1 priority and if someone is making the club an unsafe place we need to know about it! at minimum the person will be removed from the bar, at max they’ll be arrested. you telling us is keeping you, your friends and future patrons safe. DONT BE AFRAID TO TALK TO US!

People dont realize that statistically you are MORE likely to be drugged or SA'd by those you are close with, as you are more likely to be like "oh its just so and so, i can leave my drink here while i go to the bathroom"

People saying "maybe bc its candy?"
- bystanders will watch a drink actually get spiked and will not say anything to the person whos drink it is.

The BEST rule is if you look away from your drink, it is NOT your drink anymore.

I put my drink down at a private party, dumbest 23 year old decision ever. After only two drinks I couldn’t barely walk, everyone thought I was just drunk- no, someone put something in my drink. You don’t become violently ill after two drinks.

I got spiked on water, in a huge group of people I trusted, in a quiet bar and none of my friends were the perpetrators. No one was acting sus or suggesting I go home with them. I went home with my partner to my apartment with my roommates and slept it off. It can happen to anyone at anytime, anywhere. Stay safe y'all

Man and me and my cousin every where we went we would be told or asked “why yall hovering over your drink/ oh you not playing about that drink” the alarming comments because we literally would keep our hand over it and in our chest . We finish in 1 setting or take turns watching the drink literally watching. Had too many people I love get drugged n still messed up

Wholesome story: a commedian was doing a set about a time he was drunk at a bar, this guy was really trying to push this girl to take a drink, she didnt want it, he said hed take it (the guy giving the drink was pissed) the guy took it, and remembered almost nothing after and his friends had to help him home. So he ended up exposing to the girl that the guy was trying to drug her and potentially saved her from a dangerous situation.

Drink spiking is one of those really scary things. Can happen quickly, could be someone you thought you were close to. Recently I found videos of people covering the human trafficking in the Korean Burning Sun bar. Women were druged by the workers and sent to be raped by high profile individuals. The business was basically a rape club with a bar as the front. They worked with police. Some of the police officials were "regulars" at the bar. The main ring leader was sentenced *one year* in jail for orchestrating hundreds if not thousands of organized rapes. He even got out early.
