Life has a funny way of giving us all what we need and want when we are ready for it. Follow ur heart and the rest will follow. The right person will make you happy and add value plus support you no matter what, where!! Because if it’s real then nothing has its limits or value.

You are by far not getting uglier!! older yes but that’s a blessing. The right person will come along at that right time and you will know it. All your reasons for not dating right now are valid. Long distance relationships are not easy. San Diego will bless your love life and residency. Enjoy your vlogs and always happy to hear you mention my two other favs Rachel and Andy.

I love your hair like this, it really suits you! Obviously change it if you want, but I feel like this has more personality than a generic short cut

Keep the vids and Q&A content going! I'm always curious about the life of other healthcare professionals, especially those early in their career. If you ever do some sort of hangout-with-the-viewers or meet in greet when you move down to San Diego next year, would love to join and network with other healthcare workers and providers!

Love the Q & A. Thank you for being so open with all questions. Very interesting. I am a newer subscriber and do enjoy your vlogs. Keep up the great work! You will be an amazing Dr. with your positive attitude and outlook on life. I unfortunately have had medical issues and have had my share of Dr's. Some amazing and others not so much. The area you are going into is so important. You are one of the last Dr's a patient sees before they go under, and we need the reassurance from you! (I have had my fair share) It is nice to see younger Dr's coming up that have your attitude. I am not your typical demographic. I am going to be 65 in January and your vlog popped up in my recommended a couple of months ago, (unsure why but am glad) so I clicked on it and was immediately drawn in. Thank you again and best of luck in all you do.

I’ve been watching you since the very beginning of your med school journey when you would always study with Anki cards lol. Anyways I wanted to say Im extremely proud of how far you’ve come. Your videos genuinely motivate me. Im going to school for my BSN and am applying to nursing school next year so hearing about what the medical field is like especially the rotations is so helpful. ❤You got this! Thank you for making this video!!

I'm in vet school and have dogs. We don't get any income so having my roommates help w letting the dogs out is huge. It's a huge help that my dogs are medium sized and can hold their bladders super long times (up to 12 hours worst case) but having a roommate helps. I've also heard you can look for 1/2 year vet students to help with letting the dogs out. The hours such in vet school clinics too (10-15 hour days) but I can stillfeed them so it helps to just find someone to let them out. My dogs get used to the feeding schedule. If you can afford a regular sitter on rover i'd def do that!

Thanks for the Q & A! Best of luck on the upcoming 1/2 Marathon...I think these challenges help with your residency - gives you a chance to step away and re-focus :)

My dog recommendation would be to hire someone off rover or someone you trust so they can go walk your dogs, feed them and play with them.
I actually did that when I was senior in high school to make some cash. It was fun!

Shaun topics I’d love to hear you comment on. How to have ‘bad news’ conversations with patients. How do you find that ? Also you don’t mention any patients going into cardiac arrest. How often have you been involved in codes and how do you debrief after.

Love watching your videos, I’m a 3rd stage medical student in Kurdistan and I learn a lot from your videos! Hopefully I’ll get to do my residency in US once I finish my remaining 3 years :)
