Yeah, I worked there in high school. They used to donate all the food not sold to local homeless shelters. Until it got to the point where they had a few dozen lawsuits filed every single week by homeless folks claiming the 4 hour old donut gave them food poisoning.

They use to give them away to homeless shelters etc BUT they got sued by someone that got free donuts and DD lost the case. So they stopped giving them away. It's always 1 person that ruins it for everyone else.
