FYI if bacteria doesn't even want to eat something... neither should you. I was disappointed that KK didn't even mold. I would have thought they used better ingredients. But DD seems like the healthier of the two.

Here’s the issue, you purchased a grocery store bought Krispy Kreme which is made to last the longest, versus a Dunkin’ bought Dunkin’’ Donut which is made to be eaten within a day. Now if you go to a real Krispy Kreme you will get different results.

They decay means less preservatives so it should be better to eat than one that looks fresh more than a week. This applies to bread too. Real bread should not sit out for weeks and never change.
