MAGA and the Indian Immigrant Problem

Donald Trump MAGA supporters are furious that Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamey are pushing for the migration of Brown immigrants to the U.S. to do the jobs that Americans don't do well. Lol

H1B immigrants from India have been replacing Americans jobs since 2000. I worked in IT for a major aviation company for 35 years and have witnessed American IT jobs, replaced by low wage workers from India. These American workers ( black, white, Asians etc.) were laid off and replaced by H1B workers. I reviewed and approved the invoices for the H1B contractors and the majority of the funds went to the consulting firms. The contractors did not make huge salaries. And the work they produced was subpar, the American workers who were left had to clean up the contractors coding messes. I’m an African American woman and I saw it everyday for years. Some organizations were staffed totally with contractors from India.

The skills that the Indians are being imported for are skills created and developed in the US. There are American workers with those skills, but they're quite expensive. Paying an American worker $100 per hour significantly differs from paying an H1-B Indian $40 per hour for the same position. These US companies need to develop partnerships with various universities and community colleges for skill development. The H1-B contractor is supposed to be a temporary fix, but the H1-Bs never leave. They at some point get a green card and later citizenship.

I am not sure if Black Society is aware of this but, the American Government have been outsourcing jobs to Asia for years more specifically India and the Philippians.

Look at the Black women in the movie "Hidden Figures" at NASA. The commander of the shuttle refused to takeoff until the computer figures were redone by hand which meant a Black woman did the calculations by hand rounded off to a decimal point.

They want cheap Indian Labor. Kenya Engineers working on AI are being paid $2.00 an hour. Brilliant minds. Why won't they hire them? I'll give you one guess.

They want tech workers from foreign countries because they will work for lower wage, no union problems, work long hours, and will not demand work or address any work-related issues, and very little chance for upper-level movement in the management of the company. Yes, they do have Indians in positions of power in some high-tech companies, but the vast majority of Indians and Asians workers never move up beyond their current position to move into management.

The Indian immigrant has been taking over since 1998. That is when the H1BC visa was introduced, while working for a major tech company that outsourced thousands of jobs. Remember when all of a sudden calls to customer support was no longer in the US?
They were put in place to help with Y2K because of the unknown and the massive amount of work to be done. When the jobs left first line support agents were making $18 -$22 an hour. When the jobs came back, the rate was $15/hour.
And yes, a lot of the major tech companies and financial institutions have Indian CEOs, CIOs, CFOs and CHROs in place.
IBM was jokingly called Indian Business Machine when the employee headcount in India was 40, 000 more than in the US.

I visited India a few years ago and I couldn't wait to leave. There is too much pollution, people and poor infrastructure. But they don't want to fix that; they want to leave instead. They are all over the place. Travel to Canada and the UK and see how many of them live in those countries.
