I Lived Like A 1950s Housewife For 24 HOURS HALLOWEEN RECIPES

I spent 24 hours like a 1950's housewife! I woke up early in the morning, got my self all dolled up and went off to the kitchen to cook my husband breakfast. Once he was off to work I had quite a large cleaning list to get through. 1950's housewives took pride in their homes and made sure they were spotless everyday. After that I had to begin cooking! After everyone was fed dinner I had to do MORE cleaning before I could finally relax. This experiment was so fun to try out, I was not able to use my phone or social media for 24 hours! Would you try it out?!

God, why would people get mad at you for not curling your hair right? Wth. I agree that your hair "ruins" the immersion of the whole 50's thing, as women back in the days either had their hair up, or short hair. Long hair is more of a 70's and up kind of trend.

But still, people shouldn't tell you to ruin your hair with appliances you don't want to use! You do you!!!

I am such a vintage gal. I grew up in the 60’s so I look at my mother for 50’s living. Back then it was the style to pull your hair back (long hair wasn’t in style) and wear a bandana and knot it in the front. Do you know that girls couldn’t wear pants to school until the mid 70’s. I graduated in 1972 and always had to wear a dress. Lol. Moms wore pants but for the most part wore dresses. 😊 just an FYI.

You should've worn a dress if you wanted to! Don't try to stress yourself out too much with criticism, can't please everyone after all. ^^ Have you ever tried wet sets with pin curls? I've seen people with very straight and seemingly 'uncurlable' hair end up with nice results with it! Perhaps you should do a video doing Old Hollywood film star makeup tutorials for Halloween, such as iconic makeup looks from certain movies? That would be a really cool and unique video to see. :)
