I’m 47 yrs. old. My 1st truck was a 1994 Dodge Dakota with a manual transmission. I paid $10, 500 for it used with 15, 000 miles. Bought my 2nd truck in 1999, which was a Chevy Z71 that had 21, 000 miles on it. The selling price on that truck was $25, 000 with my trade and what they took off I paid $12, 500. My next and last truck was a 2014 Ford F-150. I bought it in 2015 with 24, 000 miles on it. They wanted $27, 500 for it I gave them $21, 500. I still have the Ford till this date. I’ve paid $45, 000 total in my almost 50 years of life for three very nice trucks that have served me well. I’ve never had a truck payment over $300 a month while friends of mine have had truck payments as much as their house payments. The prices of these new vehicles are ridiculous.

I called my dealer weekly the moment they were showcased months ago. Got mine ordered the first week they went up for grabs back in August.
It went into production sept 18th and today i found out build complete. 3 weeks pending GM accepting, 3 weeks wait for production start, two weeks build.
Delivery status delayed, its sitting somewhere in a Michigan holding lot pending shipping. Dealer thinks another 60 days is a realistic expectation because the current notes in the system say shipping delays. I do got the VIN tho, so I am eagerly waiting. @MSRP no markup! Plus I get to take advantage of the GM friends and family coupon they extended to their employees!

I'm curious about the trim piece around the grill(i call it the u piece) why it is now red. When the 2500 AT4X came out like 4 months ago all the videos had that trim piece black. I think being black looked better, can anyone answer this? Is it an option, order override from dealer or just early model debut? Thanks for any input

Thats my pick over the Ultimate. Just cant stand that umber interior with the seat embossing. That ATX is the ticket!! Excellent job on the video.

Good video. You may want to know that's not a thick coat of paint on bottom of side of vehicle for rock protection. That's sprayed on bed liner with paint over it. What appears to be thick paint is actually rubber Rino linner.

Like the looks of the GMC, but have heard too many people complain about the seats not comfortable in the Denali ultimate, say the Ford seats are much more comfortable
