I had a 2020 Sierra Denali 2500 with the Duramax. Awesome and powerful truck no doubt. Sold it due to how uncomfortable it was on long trips. Seats were like a rock. Other than that a solid vehicle. Paid 70K. The prices they are asking today for these HD's is just plain stupid. Even if you have the money for it.

I think it’s worth the extra price. They actually give you more/ different “stuff”. Realistically the vast majority of people just want the capability and style, rarely do they actually use it. I got no problem with it lol er’body do your own thang😂

Great looking trucks. One thing that kinda disappoints a little is the standard sized sunroof. Such a small sunroof for such a big truck. A panoramic sunroof would be the cherry on top. If I were going for the AT4, I think I’d skip out on the sunroof altogether.

Wow I didn’t see that coming with the AT4X being noticeably taller than the AT4. The “standard” 2020+ HDs are huge to begin with so the ZR2/AT4X are monsters lol.

Personally I’d take the AT4. I think that’s the best trim for the GMCs. I’m not crazy about the black bumpers on the AT4X. They suit the Chevy’s I guess since we have seen them for awhile now but I’d rather have the body color of the AT4. I also don’t particularly like that bronze color. GM does that on the High Country too and I’m not crazy about it.

The AT4X does offer some nice upgrades though. I’m sure the price would be a little closer if the AT4 in this video was loaded. And then at that point it might be worth it since you get massage seats, better sound system and then the shocks. I still like the styling better on the AT4 though.

It depends what you are looking for. If I were to buy anyone of these trucks for driving around, I'd chose the AT4. But I'd chose the AT4X if I were to do any off-roading.

I was completely unaware of the AT4X with the AEV package. Partially my fault, as I told my salesman I wanted a 3500 for the specific payload reasons.
after chatting with him outside premisses a few weeks later, He told he could make some phone calls and probably have the AT4X AEV package put on the 3500... but at that point it was too late for me.

won't be long before they start making the AT4X AEV on the 3500.

So hungry to own that X! Just ordered my 2nd '24 AT4. First one got hit with only 3k miles on it. Got it back from body shop just don't trust anymore. Wanted to go with X, but need that extra payload from the 3500. Bad ass truck man! Wish I didn't need to tow as much. That truck is freaking bad ass in and out. 👊
