I really enjoy when you go to older videos to compare and prove a point. Like the 2021 ram sticker price, and the mirrors. Thanks for the content.

I have a 2024 2500HD diesel. It also has a stumble. I thought for a second it was gonna cut out. 100k truck needs to NOT HAVE PROBLEMS!

Glad you called out the UAW. If they are getting more money, the product needs to be better

I am glad I purchased the new power wagon. I had a new Chevy 2500 ZR2 on order, but backed out after waiting for a month. 1st year bugs can be a pain.

Every time I see videos like this I am glad I’ve held on to my 4th gen! In 7 years I had to replace the antilock brake pump for $400ish at 95k miles and that’s it! But that AT4x is sweet!!

No joke, my 3500 literally had a bent frame from the factory. You could measure roughly an inch or more of twist from one side to the other. Amazingly, that was "within factory spec", according to a service advisor. Never mind the fact that the passenger side door and bed would not close without rubbing, literally metal to metal, and never mind the fact the that tires would wear out after 12, 000 miles. It was as if the truck had been in an accident and was poorly repaired, but nope. The truck was brand new, had less than 10 miles on the ODO when I drove it home, and there was no signs the thing had ever had repairs, or like the dealer might've tried to cover something up. That's just how it was from new.

What's most shocking is that wasn't even the worst of it. The truck ultimately ended being bought back under lemon law for an unidentified problem with the braking system. The truck wasted months, going back and forth for repairs. It was a nightmare. That was the first AND LAST GM product for me.

I have noticed the same transmission stuttering issue on mine also. I don’t have a 1000 miles yet and it has done it a couple time.

I’ve had this issue on my 2024 AT4 2500 diesel.

Took it back to the dealer and they couldn’t get it to replicate.

Said if it continues to please bring it back and hopefully they can replicate it.

It has subsided some after 2, 000 miles but does still happen on occasion.

When i first saw your model i thought, yeah i should get one. But just seeing that shifter blocking the screen was enough for me to doubt the engineers.

JB lower the tire pressure to 52-54 front and 46-48 in the rear. It will make a drastic difference. The Duratracs are loud and more so if you keep max pressure they will wear uneven and make a ton of noise. Get the falkin Wild peak AT3 or 4s coming out. It is still aggressive enough but I have found to be the quietest next to the BFG's.

My 2023 - 1500 AT4 has the Territory MT. Don’t worry. They get much louder as they wear down. At 29000 now. Low speed sounds like truck is growling.

My brand new 24 AT4X is doing the exact same thing. It's like a lugging or something in the transmission. I thought it was slipping but I'm having the same issue. The 24 AT4 I traded in did not do it at all. Please let us know what you find out.

I have a 24' 2500 AT4 ~ 6500 miles. I'm also having that issue. I notice when I'm going about 40-50 mph. I told the dealer when I did the first oil change and I'm pretty sure they didn't do anything. I still get that weird stumble. The service rep told me that I have to keep the truck in 2wd which i have been since i drove it off the lot.

I think they have a reflash for the trans issue. I’ve got a 24 Chevy 2500 gasser and it stutters/stumbles, around 25-40mph and normally up a slight hill. I was told they have a reflash and it fixed a few other guys trans. Might call the dealer, I’m calling mine tomorrow.

I have around 3k on my 2024 3500 SWR and the transmission shuttered twice during the first 1k miles but hasn’t done it since.

There's a experience hand over in all work places. A lot of big company's are offering retirement packages. The experience workers are retiring, 30 plus year guys and gals are leaving. So we might see some quality work take a hit.. 😏

Been a sub since first gen Godzilla fseries (when ya didn't show that handsome smile. Lol) but what the shifting issue sounds like is the "hunting" effects of the 10spd hunting for proper gear at current speed at the moment. Example: when part throttling through gears under slight acceleration, they stack gears up onya cuz the "economic" reading of pcm . (Likely the cause) and hence when "tow haul mode is engaged" it holds gears (lower/longer, in powerband)

My trans kinda does the same thing, but at lower speeds while in traffic. If I'm costing at like 5 or 10 mph and I give it some gas, it jumps/stumbles is a good name for it. It doesn't happen all the time, and it happens less now that I have 12k miles on it. But still does once and a while. I have the 2500 SLE. I'll be looking for your update.

I got a 2024 AT4 3500 in November and the outside b pillars didn't match. One side was glossy and the other side was the cheaper textured plastic.
i can't believe QC didn't catch that. Had to take it back to the dealer to get the textured swapped out for the glossed trim under warranty. In a way i'm starting to feel like they are building as many as they can and allowing warranty to pick up what they would've fixed at the factory. Also, i do get a bit of hesitation when I step on it from about 40 mph. Not sure if that's the same thing as you.

In addition to the wild dealer markups at the time, I noticed the transmission surging sensation on a test drive of a Denali Ultimate, which both caused me to back out of the deal. The truck was otherwise sweet! Yes, those Territory MTs are loud, but it is strange how tire compound of the same tire design can change noise levels. The TRX uses a Territory tire as well and noise is next to non-existent(maybe the Hellcat drowned it out😂). It is also sad to read about the quality lapses, but that has been the game since 2020+ at most manufacturers. Not even Toyota is immune.
