Correction to your gibberish about 'outdated' chips: It is a waste of material and resources if other hardware components are not yet developed enough to fully use the chip, and yet there are some people like you complaining about newer chips not installed on older devices that lacked technology to fully show the performance of a recent updated chip.

My son purchased the 12.9in for his first year of college in 2020. The following year he purchased a MacBook. The iPad just sat collecting dust and Apple would only give him $400 trade in value so he gave it to me. I’d say don’t get the iPad if it’s for school. Save a bit more and get a MacBook.

PS even with the keyboard attachment he still found the MacBook more useful for school.
