I tell you, herbs can make a nice bowl of rice & beans into a GREAT meal! And if you have lots, you switch them around so it is less boring to eat 😁 One thing: most basil are annuals. They like neing picked a lot but you have to plant like every month so you don't run short when they start to flower & die. You can get perennial basil. Its leaves are harder and need cooking unless theyre very young. But you need to check for it specifically.

This year I grew mint, parsley, coriander, fennel, basil, ginger, and Lemon thyme they all were doing very well I planted them all by the seeds except thyme I bought it started already and now I propagate it by growing it to be bushy and take some stem and put them in another pot and keep them in a shade and now I have two pots of thyme

I don't bother with dill becaue I grow fennwl. Fennel & dill taste very similar, and they cross-breed so easily you need to have them like 40m apart or more. So it's good to have one on the kitchen windowsill or something 😁 Fennel bulbs are amazing.
