Starting my first raised garden 🪴 and this was very helpful! I love herbs so I’m glad to know they have a chance during winter time.

I tried growing cilantro; but, it couldn't take the heat and went to seed within a week of putting it in the ground. I really want to try growing parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme. If I made my own pasta sauce, I think these are the herbs that I would most likely use; but, if you have different suggestions, I would welcome them. Thank you for sharing the video.

Shiso is one of my favorite mints. It’s a very handsome plant. In addition, I just love it's taste and health benefits. Although not too hardy, they do quite well in containers. The downside is that it can be difficult to germinate. I forgot what you had to do it, but I just ordered some seeds and hopefully at least some success.

Hi Misilla! Not a bad looking growing area you have during mid-winter. Of late here, frozen ground that yields to sloppy mud as the sun melts the snow. But soon the time will return to Happy Gardening! -Bob...

Im am going to grow Olive-herb, Mexican-Tarragon, Pepper-bush, Water-Pepper and currently growing Fish-herb in Ireland Zone 8. Here we collect seaweed like pepper-dulse and red-dulse and use them like herbs. Others i want to try are WoodAven roots, angelica root and Carolina Allspice which is grown in Britain. The bark is used as a spice but leaves, flowers, fruits and seeds are toxic making me wonder how safe it is?

You actually shouldn't touch plants when they're wet; such can spread diseases among them.
