Multistrada or 4 TW200’s and starting a TW gang with my friends...no contest.

I'd take the Multi V4! I currently own a Monster 1200 but I can't wait for the HD Pan America to be released!

Fantastic line-up of cool “dirt baggers”! Great info on many flavors of dual sport. Looking forward to H-D’s flavor on a dual sport. Should be tasty! Spent more hours then I can count on the TW200 when it came out back in the day. Fun meter was pegged riding here in Colorado!

Hey Alex, I’ve a T7 and if you want to ride it, when the weather gets more reasonable, let me know! I’m here in COS. Also, I just ordered the “MetaCycle” you guys profiled a couple weeks ago. Great content!

Glad I watched this video. I have being searching for a TW200 to do trail riding. A lot of the trails in my area require street legal bikes and it's always handy to have something you can ride on the highway between trail heads or just for fun. Everyone seems of the opinion you need a bigger bike, but to me a lightweight bike makes a lot of sense.

I'm way more interested in the new 300 duel sports than any of the bikes on this list.

Good job on the information! I'm impressed Keep this up! Now do more real-world off-road tests like TFL offroad truck does and give us the 1-to-10 scores for basic bike durability, on-tour bike fixability, general maintenance and repair costs, maximum and average full fuel tank ride distances, safety concerns, add-on tech and gear-carry options AND review the usual boots, helmets, riding armour, cold-weather and hot-weather riding gear, rain-gear and specialty bike clothing!

Do all that and this section will rise to the level of Andre et al !!!

.

P.S. I want the TW200 as it is the PERFECT light-weight single-person Prepper/Bug-out vehicle for SHTF events! You could buy two or even four of them for the price of some high end Harleys and BMWs!

It is so simple and well-built that will also get me to my out-in-the-boonies Northern Canada frozen lakes for some fishing and STILL get me home after a -40 C degree night!

In my view, an adventure bike should be happy on unpaved roads and be able to handle light off-road (non-technical single track), be exceptionally reliable, comfortable, good on fuel and have a long range (+400 km), and light enough to be able to pick up yourself (possibly under awkward conditions). They also shouldn't cost so much that you worry about it.

I think the closest I can think of for these would be the CB500X and Versys-X 300 (would be nice if they updated the latter). Most of the adventure bikes have some flaw that makes it unviable for me. We need more middleweights!

I feel you guys are confusing Dualsports and Adventure Bikes. KLR650... Dualsport, not an Adventure Bike. First, it's a 5 speed. Second, traditionally, bikes up to 650cc have been called Dualsports due to their lighter weight and more off-road focus. Bikes over 650cc are called Adventure Bikes because they're heavier and are more on-road focused. An adventure bike (like the Multistrada) is made for riding on power line roads and groomed trails. It's not made for hard core off roading. Because I know at least on guy with a BMW Adventure Bike is going to reply about how they do hard core off roading, yes, some people do, but that's not really their intended purpose. Price is also a factor. Dualsports tend to be less expensive due to having less technology and being more basic.

Dear lord, that Harley looks like it weighs 700 Lbs.

Could you also do some reviews on current and upcoming ALL-ELECTRIC true off-road and dual-sport bikes AND the larger/heavier all-electric long-ride cruiser bikes coming from HD, BMW, Honda, Kawasaki and the more exotic makers such as Husqvarna (YES! they make bikes!), RadRover, KTM, Electric Motion, ZERO Motorcyles, Alta Motors, Kuberg, Bultaco, Sur-Ron/Luna Cycle, Razor Dirt Bikes, that make bikes that don't fit the mold of a traditional motorbike but still make great off-road electric bikes!

TW200, then the KLR650. Hope you get seat time on them both to add to the review. :)

Speaking of the new Ducati, I’m surprised the revised BMW GS didn’t include radar cruise to better compete. The tech is there as they are incorporating it into their new R1250RT bikes. Meanwhile, they fit on new adaptive headlights that reposition and curve as seen in cars, and now heated seats which is nice, but ya, they left out the adaptive cruise from the GS, odd.

Yeah TW 200! I have two of them along with a Buell S3 and DR650 (sold recently). The TW's got far more use than the other two bikes.
