In this video, I show you how to merge in bumper to bumper traffic. it is a simple driving lesson, and I go over a simple driving skill that I believe that everyone should know. With that being said, merging in bumper to bumper traffic or high traffic situations should be done slightly differently than when there is no traffic or very little traffic. I show you and tell you exactly what to do in those situations!

What if it’s bumper to bumper and they’re moving fairly quickly. Would I have to go to the end of the lane and stop completely ?? Fast flow traffic with no visible break.

Bumper to bumper traffic is a relative term is that 5kph, 10kph, 25kph.
Keep the merging location the same no matter the speed.
If you merge early at 30kph and the next person passes you, you have made a lump in traffic. Just use the whole lane and everyone will merge at the same point.

Now do this in real traffic, and show everybody... Talk does not necessarily equal to real life bumper to bumper situations on merging. A whole different ballgame..

I'm lucky enough to not experience this yet as I live in a relatively small city so we don't get too much traffic, I will, however, keep it in find when I go on the highway if I need to travel and it's rush hour. Awesome video again.
