I thought all SEAL's were fat. That's how they survive the Arctic.

It’s not like it’s a big dark hidden secret. If we will all address our weight as a fact that we can control through behavior, we will have more success at being healthy and happy. It’s only a big deal if you attach all this emotional significance to it.

When I get fat, my freinds call me fat.
Thats freind ship.
When I hit the gym, they say good job fatty, until I'm good again.
I need that, and appreciate it.
If they see me fat, so does everyone else.

We had the same thing going on in the ODAs and eventually it caught up to a few guys when we got a new SGM and he made us all do the PFT with him there. I liked it though. Every now and then, someone needs to check you, no matter who you are.

In the Army we used to PT soldiers til they puked if they were fat. But in the kinder gentler Army they tolerate it way too much.

In the MARINES it’s called a PFT
Physical fitness test. One time I was
Attached to base HOUSEIng with
5 other marines. They were all
Sgts. I was LCpl. So Monday
Our master Sgt told us we have
A PFT Friday. I was the only one
Who showed up. Got a perfect
Score 300. LoL.

In my units we would simply say, "dude, you're getting to be a food blister, you need to start doing more exercise, might I suggest starting with 'push-a-ways" (from the table).

R.J. ? Maybe. In class 247 the instructors called him over and had him go up to another instructor ( a previous dev group guy) he asked him if he had any kids. The instructor just stared at him. Eventually he said yes and . RJ said good because I’m f ing hungry. The instructor asked what instructor made him do that . When he told him he told that instructor that he dimmed him out. The beating began. The guy was overweight but made it all the way through BUDS. He was a very good runner and had a great attitude.
