“This was born from a realization that most of the world’s wars to that point had been, in part, in most part, created from religious differences. “Cathedral” is about a real experience of me being on LSD and going to Stonehenge, lying in the middle of Stonehenge. Trying to figure out what was happening with my life, going to Winchester Cathedral, opening the door, feeling this strange presence at my feet, looking down at my legs which are now wavering, and seeing that I was standing on the grave of somebody who had died on my birthday.”

Graham Nash...Songs for Beginners...that's the album that hooked me to CSN back in the early 70's when I was a young teenager. My older sister turned me on to all the great music back then. Actually she was the one who took me to see Led Zeppelin in 1973....first concert for me at a tender 14. ❤❤❤

I saw CSN in the 90's, I was part of the local stagehands then . This was the encore song and when it was time to sing it stained glass windows were projected on the backdrop with the sun streaming thru . It was like a life altering experience. Their harmonies were so perfect I was tearing up and getting chills at the same time . Beautiful !
