I sang this song to my sons as babies and then as young children. Now I sing it to my beloved, beautiful grandson. RIP David Crosby, your voice inspired and gave solace to so many of us.

I remember hearing this on the radio on a crisp spring morning while being driven to school by my Mom in 1970. I never grow tired of hearing this great classic from CSN & Y.

Beautiful song from a beautiful era. RIP David. You may be gone but what a legacy. I'm so grateful to have grown up with this music. What a time it was. Music today (if you can call it that) is dire.

Shared this today to my 21 year old son who is moving today to go to school. ❤💔 I also love that most people don't know Jerry Garcia played guitar in this song!😮

My dad used to Play this on his guitar and sing, he had us all singing along. Funny he would always look at me out of the 8 kids and say why aren't you singing lol I was the youngest and shy. he'd say why be shy it's your family 😂 sing. He finally got me into the swing choir that's almost like a school choir but we went to state And would sing in a group of 10. I absolutely love this song. The best memories. And the lyrics are True.

I stumbled onto his video and have forgotten how much I like this song. It was a harsh time in the late 60's early 70's with the war in Vietnam and this song brought a sense of calm and when I look back on my life with my children now grown adults, the 2nd half of the song is how my children has come full circle as I've learned so much from them. I guess this song is as relevant for me today than it was 50 years ago. Did NOT know the Jerry Garcia story and it's a pretty good one when I looked it up.
