"I think Venom just killed Uncle Ben"
Love the casual way that Spidey and J.J. took care of the situation. They are totaly used to the lifestyle of a literal God.

Why cant nobody just snap their fingers and remove evil?
I would do that even if that action would brand me evil for doing so, it's a nessesary sacrifice for the greater good

I like that Uncle Ben just keeps on dying, and Spider-Man keeps bringing him back like it's no sweat.

Gotta love how even when Peter is capable of bending the very fabric of reality to his will, that reality still conspires to make sure uncle Ben dies.

I like how even in a timeline Spider-man created himself with God's own powers, something beyond even him wants uncle Ben dead so much it kills him five times a day

1:57 I like how it's completely just not explained why Kingpin is in this panel. Just standing around like Carl from Aqua Teen Hunger Force while a fucking god battle is happening next to him is so funny.

I know the point is that since Spider-Man can just revive Uncle Ben, he doesn't have to lear that his actions or inaction have consequences. That being said, him dying over and over like it's a regular thing is really funny.

Speaking of Dr. Manhattan, I love the fact that DC currently has a lot of characters who got his power . Rorschach would surely say: "What is this, some kind of nuclear gods bargain sale?!"

This wasn't the only time, he had the powers of Captain Universe as Cosmic Spider-Man for a time, too.

This is smart writing. It sort of does an end-run around the "bored God" conceit in that Spidey knows his godhood is temporary. Time become compressed like in a dream. The "it happens all the time" line has a double-edge to it because while it conveys blaiseness, it also speaks to omnipotent Peter's realization that the struggle against evil and the suffering it causes innocents is never endinig.

This story's plot was basically: "What If Spider-Man could use Bully Maguire's 0, 0001% power?"

Love how even with reality like play doh in his hands, Spider-Man still could not keep Ben from dying. You could say that it’s inevitable, a cannon event perhaps

A detail I notice is that there is one single solitary thing that slips from Spider-Man's attention during his brief existence as a god. As aware as he is about everything everywhere, his uncle Ben is able to die over and over and over and he's none the wiser, needing JJJ to tell him about it even when it's happening in plain view right nearby.

My speculation about this is that at some deep psychological level, Peter mentally just cannot bring himself to ever intentionally witness Uncle Ben's death. There's nothing he'd like more than to be able to bring him back to life, which he casually does without a second thought repeatedly during these events, but even with omnipotence Uncle Ben's murder is a blind spot for him. He's refusing to witness it despite having the power to not only know about it, but to know about it before it happens.

Additionally, Uncle Ben seemingly dying every other minute here seems to indicate that even with omnipotent godhood, he can't change the fact that Uncle Ben being dead is a universal constant for him. He can bring him back all he wants, but he will just die again a few minutes later.
