Short answer: No it's not bannable, no it dosen't drop FPS while using it. No you don't need the paid version. The free one is good as well.

It's worth noting that if you are using something made for fortnite that changes the crosshair you want based off the type of weapon you're using WITHOUT INPUTTING KEYBINDS it's reading the games memory, which is not allowed and is 100% bannable.

I have a red or green cross hair implenmented in my monitor which is pretty neat it goes square circle or i forgot last one but its pretty neat since no fps consuming and it overlays EVERYTHING

The best kind of crosshair is an x with an hole in the middle, you can fully see the original crosshair
