For anyone else watching, u can also complete the square so y = (x-2)^2-1 to get (2, -1)

There's another simpler way as y also equal to (x-3)(x-1). By substituting y=0 you get X=3 and X=1 which are the X-int.

Turning pt is the middle of the graph so X cord of turning pt would be (3+1)/2 =2. To find y cord of turning pt substitute X=2 into (x-1)(x-3) = -1.
Hence turning pt is (2, -1)

This method only does not work if the only option to factories equation given is to complete square.
