Its amazing to hear this. I had a friend who recently asked me what can greece do/what could happen in greece and one of the main things i saw too was the same thing that happened to Germany in the begining of then20th century. One of the main reasons i support Bernie Sanders is because he seems to be the only politician that actually understands and knows history which is where one should look to for how certain economic and political policies will effect everything. In the natural sciences you have testing and variables, but in political science and economics all you have is history but elected officials seem to like overlooking the past saying that wouldnt happen to us or that they know better what their policies will do than those who have actually tried to implement it in the past. Its also nice to see a presidential cannidate adressing this issue. Although it is not a major issue for many americans and most dont even understand/know what is happening but to see someone who truly looks out for everyone without feeling the need to police/occupy the world its admirable.

I have dual citizenship (Greek-American). I grew up in Greece and the crisis made me pack up my bags and come to America. Bernie has my vote. I love everything he stands for. I love this man 💜

Greece needs a New Deal. They need structural reforms, they need labor reforms, they need infrastructure reconstruction. So do Puerto Rico.

Oh, and if Puerto Rico have austerity, then Puerto Ricans (all of them US citizens) will simply start moving to Florida, New York and other parts of the US.

As a Greek is heart breaking, listening to foreign perspectives and diffirent audiencies. The worst is confirming all those you lived during the last 10 years in somebody 's words that lives many miles away. But let me get something straight. We 've been misguided, we 've been made to turn against each other, we 've been misinformed. Greeks stopped caring about other Greeks. Everybody is taking care of his family nowadays and that is all that matters to them. I respect Bernie Sanders because he is stating the obvious. Imagine that other European countries - of that fake Union we live in - do not acknowledge any of this...

The Greek Crisis is in large part due to the fact that ECB controls Greece's Monetary policies while the Greek Government controls the Fiscal policies. Austerity did not cause the crisis as he thinks, but rather has been a response towards the crisis.
