5 minutes tea cake in sandwich maker. How to make vanilla sponge cake without Oven

Ingredients
Egg 1 piece
Sugar 1/4 cup
Milk 2 tbs
Vegetable oil 1/4 cup
Vanilla 1tsp
All purpose flour 1/2 cup
Baking powder 1/2 tsp

Method
Beat egg and sugar until change colour slightly. Add milk, oil and vanilla essence. Add flour and baking powder, make smooth batter. Brush oil in sandwich maker. Put batter in sandwich maker and turn it on for 4-5 minutes. Soft and fluffy cakes ready for tea.

I made it just a while ago by exactly following your recipe and I'm so glad it turned out so soft and fluffy but the only issue I faced is that despite applying enough oil it got bit sticky at the bottom. Did I leave the cake for too long. Could anyone plz explain 😢

I made it with a few changes! Perfect! I know sponge cake is made without oil and qny fats! It is made with egs! I made it with two eggs, and one and a half table spoon sugar, and one teaspoon baking powder! Instead vanilla i put a little lemon juice in! Perfect and the best sponge cake ever!
