Can you make one called "So you want a STI" where you tell us about the dangers of unprotected sexual intercourse

The people who want it can't afford it yet.

The First Type-R Civic did not have a 160 HP engine, nor a 6-speed gearbox.

The EK9 Type-R as it's called, had the B16B engine (a smaller variant of the B18C engine from the Integra Type-R) making around 185 HP. It also had a 5-speed manual gearbox with an LSD very similar to the Integra's gearbox.

The B16A engine (160-170HP) is of the same family as the B16B and B18C but quite different than those two engines.
And it came in Civic Si, SiR, VTi, or whatever they were called in a particular region.

Have the type R and 23mpg is my average. The wheels do suck and a common compliant is damaged wheels just in freeway transitions. Upgrading to something lighter at 19x9.5 is the plan. Zero disappointed days of driving it and not a fan boy. If you love driving this car does not disappoint.

Happy to see this vid. Got mine right on release, 2 years ago, and I'm usually a big modder, but for some weird reason I just felt like this car shouldn't be changed all that much. My friends still keep asking me what I've done to it and what I'm gonna do and most often, what they would do to it, but I just haven't gotten that feeling with this car yet. It's so special to me and so amazing in many many ways, I just feel like it should be left alone, out of respect or something. Couldn't quite place those feelings but I'm so glad to watch this vid and see that I'm not the only one. Yes, I do have plans, but I'm seriously really in no hurry and that is so weird for me ! Great vid !

I was fortunate enough to buy a new Type R and I LOVE IT! It is amazing how well these things hold their value even when they are used. I will not be doing any mods to mine. Not only is it set up perfectly from the factory but I do not want to do anything to void that amazing 7 year warranty I have on the car. Gone are my days of paying out of pocking at the mechanic for things that should not have broken in the first place. Well done Honda and I also love they had the courage to make it only in a manual! If you want to keep the manual alive you buy a car that has a manual. I did. If you don't know how to drive a manual, learn. Plain and simple.

Friend of mine has one, full bolt ons, tuned to 400whp, turbo and downpipe wrap, oil cooler and catch can, 275/40R18 slicks, extra aero, 2pc rotors, race pads. It beats a lot of cars you wouldnt expect on the road course and has no torque steer or under steer tendencies. Definitely worth the money.

*Original CTR was 1.6L in the 1.8L ITR block with higher compression pistons making 180 HP.

I did pretty much everything that Alex just said, changed the wheels, changed out the exhaust, bigger intercooler, and a bunch of other stuff they don't have names for yet. I think the most important mods are thermal management mods. I wrapped pretty much every pipe in the engine bay. I also added a Turbo Blanket. I'm posting this now but I get the car back in less than 7 hours. JAPAN time. Alex, can you ship those T-Shirts worldwide? I need to rock the F.I on something..
