I paid $100 for two pairs of Rothco Jungle Boots at the surplus I shop at, They look like old Vietnam era U.S combat boots and they've withstood my outdoorsy life style. They aren't very comfy though when you first buy them I had to put some insoles in them. I also got a M65 field jacket in Tiger Stripe for $60 and that thing is rugged and the liner is water resistant which is nice for North Carolina weather. I'm a regular at the surplus store I shop in. It's owned by a former Army soldier and his two sons who are active duty marines.

I have used surplus us desert tan boots at work and have lasted two years on an oily shop floor. My co-worker bought chinesium boots and only get a few months service.

Sometimes I do the washing up wearing my S10, it scares the nosy neighbours and keeps them away from me. Very useful.

Some carrier rigs like Smersh vests are really good for motorbikes and hiking, etc, since it’s just giving you extra pockets and not interfering with anything.

Great video mate, i bet theres lots of every day uses for no end of surplus, always worth getting surplus as its so much cheaper for some harder to get expensive gear.

Find your videos very interesting and informative! You mention airsoft often, would you think about getting in to it at all?

I wear the old US Army BDU Pants (DBDU, DCU, BDU, etc) and they are the most comfortable pants in the winter. Also can you reccommend a mask for someone who has an underbite?

nah doc martens tend to fall apart after 6 months for me, the made in england ones are decent but youre better going for solovair as they make the DM boot and its usually cheaper to just get them straight from soloviar mind it is like 2-3x the price. suprlus boots are unbelievable value for money, particularly the austrian meme boots and german heliboots
