I love how much Samsung has improved their software. Not only is it more refined and speedy but also a lot more practical. I'm a huge fan of Androids multitasking options. Seeing how much easier Samsung is making it to go into split screen view or floating window is a huge a deal for me. My next device will definitely be a Samsung for sure.

You missed maintenance mode, which allows you to hide all of your personal data and settings if you ever have to give your phone for repair.

I have tried and failed to switch to android 3x over the past 10 years.

Samsungs software is finally clean, functional, and snappy enough to make this totally realistic.

It’s a huge shift to leave the Apple ecosystem, but I’m overdue and I can’t wait

I have a Samsung phone and had the One UI 5 for quite a while but I learned a lot of shortcuts and features from this video.

00:45 If anyone is wondering how you can keep the app drawer and also have quick access to finder (the default system searcher), you can set finder as your default assistant. After that, you can set up your home button to open finder by pressing and holding the home button. That's it. No external apps are required to get this done. ONEUI can do that for you.

I prefer stock Android but it's nice to see software improvements from other companies.

Samsung one UI5.0 is clean look, more sensible features like dual screen, edge screen, one hand mode, samsung dex mode, updates on security patches, upgrades on OS platforms, widget customize easier, secure vault or folder, all the features seems to be like as clean Google android OS so hope samsung might continue this in future to be as simple as Google OS too.

Got a new A52s for my mom a week ago from Technopolis & it's great! One thing I noticed is how on the expanded notifications panel the clock, battery and all statusbar icons are below the punchhole, not beside it. Also when in landscape and you pull down the notification panel it doesn't take up the whole width of the screen. And last but not least the Gallery app doesn't have photo dates on them in the bottom right corner which was nice (now you need to swipe up on the image to see the date it was taken on).

The main difference is that the budget "A" series phones are missing some features that the flagship "S" series phones have, otherwise, the One UI interface is the same on all Galaxy phones. For example, I have the A32 5G and it does not have maintenance mode, DEX, Bixby text call feature and smart suggestion widget. Also, Camera Assistant from the Good Lock module is not available for this phone

I like Samsung's one UI except for the fact that their default keyboard only supports four layouts/languages.

You are soooo smart! I'm such a dummy when it comes to tech stuff. Thanks for all your knowledge. 😊

I did notice that after the upgrade to One UI 5 my A32 5G has faster performance then before

It all depends whether you like Apple or Android. I do Android and can't understand Apple to save my life. It's normally the same with Apple users in response to Android phones.
