Note that this guy is not only supportive, not only a genuine fan, not only an active participant, but *good at what he does.* He got their shipping costs down by up to 70%, and I bet he *knew* he could, too, which is why he was like "Let me work with you." I think a lot of people - but men especially, because of stupid expectations about being The Provider - trap themselves in jobs where they don't really feel they DO or achieve anything, except a paycheque that gets them a nice house and car so the neighbours think they look successful.

My husband has been struggling with employment recently, and while he has his own feelings about that for himself, he always takes any opportunity to tell people about how smart I am and how cool my job is.

Our life isn't perfect because no one's is, but having a partner who actually wants to be a partner and not just the dominant person in the relationship is priceless.

Aw hell no. Hearing about love between two people who are good for each other, whether on the page or in real life, is something I *always* want to know. In a world where people are told men and women are all selfish and cruel, seeing real, supportive love is inspiring. Real love celebrates your partner's victories, and sees you fighting beside them and working with them.
That, my dear Mrs Wheatley, is something I will *always* want to know and see. Thanks for sharing a little more light :)

I'm a stay at home mom and the only time I get to write is during nap time, though I write high fantasy not romance. My husband encourages me, listens to me ramble about my story/world for hours and most of all wants me to have fun with writing. He always says I'll make millions some day; I doubt I will but it's nice to know he believes in me. I love him so much

My late fiancé, God rest his soul, was no writer nor did I think he understood why I wrote romance novels. He used to tease me about it (good naturedly).

But he always told me "You're going to make it. I know you can do it." I wanted to call and tell him the good news when my first book was accepted by the publisher.
