Samsung Galaxy A54 5G VS Galaxy S21 FE 5G: Best Midrange Phone Battle!

The S21 FE is a flagship. Nothing mid range about it. The vanilla s21 was also plastic.

I've had both, just switched from S21 FE to A54 and I have to say I prefer the A54. Feels just as quick and battery life is waaaayyy better. I dont play games and don't really take pictures all that much, so A54 is perfect for me.

I was considering the two and ultimately went with the A54. The A54, being a newer phone, is more future proof than the S21 FE. It even has eSim support for whenever you travel internationally. Not to mention, it has more years of software support from Samsung.

Honestly, I'm not that much of a performance stickler after coming from the Poco F3, and I think that the Poco F3 is a tad bit overpowered for how I use it as a daily driver. That being said, I'm happy with a top-tier mid-range device over flagships and the A54 hits the spot for me. It has the premium feel of a flagship at a relatively affordable cost.

The S21 Fe has better hardware (camera and processor, plus wireless charging is a nice touch), but given the SD card, battery life and timeliness of the A54, does it make more sense to choose it?
Note: There is of course a more important point: The price of older Samsung devices is dropping very fast and the battery life of devices sitting on the shelf is decreasing relatively fast. So I think again and again about longevity.

In India, the s23 fe is priced cheaper than the a54 during major sales. The only thing I wish the fe had was bigger battery. I still can't decide which one to buy though :(

Ive had the s21 fe since February and I quite content with its performance cameras and screen. S line is a FLAGSHIP line. A54 is great but does it have wireless charging, optical zoom and frames of metal dynamic amoled display and a flashship processor?? It does NOT. Lets get facts straight... s21 is a hybrid flagship.

S21 is incomparable to A54, its a flagship vs midrange. S21 gives u more in terms of camera, processor, etc....

The S21 FE has been over looked and it has been my go to galaxy device. Great size, screen, processor, storage and ram. It’s going to get updates for a few more years and be found for under $300. I just ordered a A54 so we’ll see how it compares. Nice video.

Using the S21 FE as we speak it's even going to be better than the A55 it's incredible for the price it can be had for now.

I have had my S21 FE since the day it came out. This week, I was comparing it in store with A54, and it's still a slightly better phone. It's a flagship, not a mid range.
The battery is 500mAh smaller than A54, but the photos and videos are way better. The image stabilization is amazing in S21FE, and you can't compare the result with A54 quality. The image is more gentle and not too fake crisp where the details are ove-exaggerated like it is the case in A54.
However, The screen in A54 is brighter and overall more pleasant to look at, when the two phones are side by side.
I like the more modern and upgraded design of A54 as Ive always found the camera bulb on S21 and s22 models relly ugly and not esthetic. But, no matter the model, you'll alwayswant to get a case and a screen protector.
At this point, I dont think I'll be buying a new phone in the next 2 years. I would rather invest again in the S range but Samsung needs to give a way better battery life for me to splurge, at this point 850€ on a phone, as they don't make the FE edition anymore.

Just got the S21 FE last week for a $250 used and it is basically brand new. Manufacturing date was in march this year and verizon warranty until 2025. Was considering for the A54 but I love the S21 FE size. And the camera system is perfect for me. Got 6+ hrs of screen on time which is really good for this phone. The only thing bogging me down is I can't get 5G here in Malaysia since it is the USA model. Other than that, it is the best decision to get this phone.

Hi! I am still not sure about buying one or another. I've heard some really bad reviews on s21 FE's battery and I find it concerning since I've previously had no problems with 4500mAh batteries on other phones. Is there really more battery draining on Samsung s21 FE? Or is it just that I stubmled on faulty or not so true reviews? The battery is really the only thing I am concerned about on this phone everything else seems very good! Thanks!

Plastic or metal are the best material for the back and frame of the phone. Glass always cracks eventually even with a case. S21 Ultra constantly had to be repaired due to the thin glass back

Im worried about battery and i wanna do some gaming on the phone and also id like a good camera which to get they're the same price
