Personally, I like Bun Bo Hue or Banh Xeo. Bun Bo Hue has me in tears in minutes from the spiciness, but it's so delicious with the flavors from the meat and the broth. I also like Banh Xeo because of it's crispy dough filled with meats and shrimp while wrapped in lettuce. The flavors intertwine together and just makes you reaching for more!

I worked at an amazing Vietnamese restaurant outside of Austin Texas and my favorites were the green papaya jerky salad, spring rolls, vermicelli bowls and hot pots.

"Chả giò" is also a really fun dish to eat. Deep fried rolls, super crunchy with amazing fillings, simply perfect for road trip snacks or just chillin with your folks with cold beers.

Vietnamese spring rolls are the best spring rolls, I could eat them for lunch daily. In fact when my husband orders pho, I get 2 orders of spring rolls and eat them with the peanut sauce for days 🥰

I grew up eating these dishes and enjoyed trying different regions of Vietnam. My family is from the Deep South and our cuisines are known as Mien Tay. There’s literally endless dishes for different taste buds and diet preference from Vietnam. Super affordable to make and to buy if going out!

I live a short drive from a Vietnamese district. When I'm craving Vietnamese food, I get out my list to order beef pho, com tam (container of mostly rice) with bbq, egg rolls, sweet tofu dessert, banh mi (stuffed baguettes), or banh xeo (stuffed crepes). What I like about Vietnamese food is they don't make me fat.
