One of the most cringe things I’ve ever seen put on a TV show was Colbert’s “Vax-Scene” garbage. I can’t imagine being such a mindless tool for government and corporate interests to the extent that Colbert is. He must truly despise himself, deep down.

Back when Carson was on, people would stay up late to see who was on, hear the monologue. Now, people just go to bed before the 10p news is even over.

And one reason for that; Carson didn't invite politicians and news media on his show on an almost nightly basis.

I am 64, and I haven't watched late night comedy since Jay Leno retired. I might be older, not quite in a nursing facility yet, but I know the difference between comedic entertainment, and political propaganda being hurled at me.
I miss watching Johnny Carson, and Jay Leno. When the likes of Cobert, Kimmel, and a few other are off the air I guarantee that nobody will be missing their shows.
