Forgot to say always best to keep water stored in the shade (& the fire extinguisher makes an ace weight to hopefully 🤞🤞🤔 stop the steps falling over 😃) 🖤✌

Just rematch this amd realised my review is pretty much summed up by - no idea how it works, but easy to use and hasn't killed me yet 😂🖤 apparently I am using it right, so I'm proper impressed with that, let me know in the comments if you want anything else reviewing 😂🖤✌

Hi Pixie, thank you for sharing this wonderful video. I’m in the planning stages prepping to join the off grid community and have found your uploads super helpful. You have such a pure glowing energy, a joy to watch. With love, Dani

I live in a flat but still bought one as tap water is nearly as bad a plastic bottled water... great video

A few birkey filters and 2 5 gallon buckets and a spout, and you're good to go

Great video! And you right we should all never ignore the rule of three's, water is pretty well up there in terms of survival isn't it.

I've got a very similar filter system as we are on bore water in cattle country - water is pumped out the bore, first use a cheap brita to pull out obvious levels of sediment crap, then I have a berfield clone it's very fancy and has rocks in the bottom to make the water taste of 'something' and put back in 'minerals' - bloody stupid advertising! but it does work and the majority of water is then boiled for tea/cooking. There was a great video article by an anthropologists looking into tea drinking and health in the Japanese and UK - both historically boil water to consume it and the health benefits are obvious.

There is a great breakdown of a expedient filter in the Steampunk Guide to the Apocalypse, but since you can buy candle filters in hardware stores here and they don't 'go off' its very easy to have a couple put away in two clean food grade buckets with a hole predrilled to fit the filter thread, and a bung tap. the other one to remember post fall is that pool chlorine tablets will disinfect a lot of water if you can let it stand - subject to nothing dead being in the tank - i'd make a video but i don't want the grief, so thank you for making the video.

I remember after a heavy night and waking up in a bush miles from home and dying from thirst. I was so thirsty I drank a puddle dry from the side of the lane, probably wasn't my best idea but 30 odd years later I'm still here. I use rainwater for washing clothes and the animals drinking water. I really want to use it for drinking so I'm going to invest a bit of money into it, not alot.

I have a few books of test strips for water, remind me about them when you see me.

You can clean the filters and then they're good as new.

Some of the masks are toxic also i would buy the berkey carbon filters and put them in your unit they are alot better especially as the is metals in rain water from geo engineering
