Hey mate I know after this you won’t be doing that again in a hurry but next time you do just leave a little bit of molten aluminium in the bottom of crucible after each pour so the next lot will have a head start on melting that’ll definitely help you out a bit😉. Cheers for the shoutout 👍🏻. So glad you remelted the slag mate . Catch ya on next weeks vid I can’t wait to see the big one your working on. I’ll send ya a photo of the idol regardless of how it came out mate🤘🏻🤪🤘🏻

Im wondering if you can crush the cans then use a metal mallet to flatten the cans to be able to put more of them in the crucible

Just out of curiosity. Why does the propane hose go from black (on the tank) to clear? (On the burner)

Inching toward four figures!

No trouble with moisture in the cans?

Like you, I was pleasantly surprised how little dross was left after the remelt.

0:16 ...That's a suspicious amount of arm endurance.

Damn that was a shitload of work. Don't drink and forge.... you should know that 😂😂 well you got some clean aluminium for future projects 👍

Nice job. I'm a little disappointed in myself for damaging my can crusher. 😑 I have one that looks just like yours. I applied more pressure than it was designed for, and several parts got bent. 😣 At least they're cheap. 😒

If you can get some scrap aluminum alloy wheels, they are a better alloy for casting. Tobho mott has a video that shows how to get the wheels in small pieces that works very good.I just melted 5 wheels using his method.
