It’s funny, I didn’t give this disc a chance when I was younger because of the intro, but now it’s my second favorite disc in the game!

It feels like entering a crypt in an RPG game and finding out that it leads to a mysterious crystal cave where all crystals are for some reason blue and there are living crystal infected skeletons who you'll need to fight and then you go down a mysterious stairway to an futuristic ruined city that's filled with crystals. Does anyone else get the same vibe from it?

This song is perfectly composed, and easy to interpret as a result. The funeral beginning is the start of night, which was fought with great peril. To finally reach the morning sun as it WARDs off the evil monsters. Beautiful

hands down 50% of us turned the song down due to the intro till later to find it fire and the other 50% already knew it was fire. there is no inbetween

the breakdown at 1:00 is literally the best part.

in my mind it’s like you’re adventuring through a forest and find a temple. you go inside (the timestamp) and you’re dodging all the traps and the bell at 1:39 rung because you set one off, you black out and wake up somewhere else and the beat starts again, you fight the people who captured you in an epic chase scene.
2:45 time skips, it’s a couple years after the fact and you live a good life in the mountains and you stare into the sunset at your final days come, pet wolf by your side, as you drift in/out of sleep.
