All I can say is that MOJANG has been doing a great job, and this update seems very complete and nice!

I can see it now. In some freak sick and twisted alternate universe, Jens is just sifting through hundreds of emails about faster minecarts every time he checks his inbox. So he just decides ‘every mention of faster minecarts adds a day before we actually update them.’ But he has the announcement hidden deep in Minecraft’s code or as a very minuscule Easter egg text in one of their videos.
