hi. I actually believe the best hydro character is yelan... she is broken compared to ayato, ayato for me is only really useful as a hyperbloom driver.

honestly, the best characters are subjective. we can all build our characters differently. As a klee main, i would think she is the best pyro, but others like yoimiya and yanfei are good as well.

Totally agree with Raiden, Nahida, Ganyu(Ayaka close second) and Kazuha.

But I feel for Pyro it goes to xiangling.
And for Hydro it can go between Ayato and Yelan. Xingqiu would be here too but you truly need his c6, sac sword and massive ER for him to work at his peak. Yelan and Ayato on the other hand are considerably easy to build and deliver.

Here’s my own opinion for the best characters from each element

-Pyro: Bennett, Thoma has his Burgeon niche but no one can replace Bennett’s synergy with Kazuha/Jean (Sunfire) and he’s the most reliable pyro battery. His buffing is also insane for any attack scaler. Every single Pyro main DPS bar Hu Tao [and possibly Dehya?] is locked to him for a reason, and all of them have their own problems [Animation cancelling on Hu Tao and Klee, needing shields for maximum DPS for Yoimiya, needing energy for Xiangling]

-Hydro: Xingqiu, imagine releasing a 5 star version of you that people think should be your replacement but you end up having one of the best synergies in the game together. Xingqiu is irreplaceable on most of his teams [Some teams simply prefer Kokomi, Ayato, or Childe]

-Anemo: Sucrose, of course Kazuha does almost anything she can do, but Kazuha lacks one thing that Sucrose has, the ability to be an on-field anemo driver [Ofc his C6 exists, but not many people have it saving primos for more “worth it” constellations.

-Dendro: It’s Nahida until it’s Baizhu[Please let me skipping Nahida for you be worth it]

-Cryo: To not induce war between Ganyu and Ayaka mains, I’ll avoid picking the 2, I cite Rosaria as my vote, she works in both freeze and melt, but also as a physical support, has a Crit Rate buffing passive, and does anything you’d expect a cryo character to do.

-Electro: It’s not Raiden, not anymore. It can be her if you build her triple EM, but in the same EM and Level, Kuki Shinobu can do the same Hyperbloom damage while healing. The role for aggravate is for Fischl and Yae Miko, and unfortunately does not have room for a character of the wrong scaling stat.

-Geo: do I even need to ask? It’s Zhongli, man can manipulate Irminsul and make people forget basic dodging.

My opinion;

Geo: Zhongli — Do I need to explain?
Anemo: Kazuha — One of he most versatile units in the game, also great swirl damage
Electro: Raiden Shogun — great hypercarry or support
Dendro: Nahida — Best dendro application
Hydro: Xingqiu — Yelan is also viable here, but- Xingqiu has a special place in my heart, he definitely has a bit better hydro application tho. He also heals, which is always a bonus.
Pyro: Bennett — No doubt, his versatility and healing capabilities make him the best 4 star in the game, imo. I can literally put him on almost every team.
Cryo: Ayaka — In my opinion, she is a better character than Ganyu, overall, but I like Ganyu more, personally. It’s just- the main disadvantage to Ganyu is that most of her damage comes from her charged attack damage, which leaves her open. She also doesn’t have as good as cryo application on her own. If you build her right, Ayaka can do just as much damage or more. Anyway, that’s my hot take ☕️
