It certainly is a great jig Gordon, and I shamelessly admit I copied the design and made a couple out of plywood, for my new table saw, and one for my band saw, they work flawlessly. great video my friend, thank you.

I agree this is one of the most useful jigs I have. It allows you to cut with the offcut always on the left side of the blade and that is the only safe way to cut thin strips. I use this jig both on the table saw and band saw and can't do without it. As my table saw and band saw are in different rooms I may just buy another one as the jig is Always in the Other room every time I need it. With this jig in combination with Micro Jig GRR-Ripper I feel confident in my safety at the saws.

Folks if you don't buy this jig for your own safety get it for just plain convenience in cutting repeatable cuts.

This will give me something to do tomorrow. I've stopped buying anything I can make, it's not the money I'm like you more fun making jigs than making the end product (most of the time).

I actually made one very similar to this using a bearing I had similar to the one like Rockler’s; I used a piece of scrap walnut and a runner from an old Harbor Freight feather-board...works well.
