Good information.. The only issue with the jigs are, that these jigs do not work on all table saws.
For example.. The Magswith does. not work with Job-Site Saws due to the fact that the table top in not made of steel, and the Saw Mate jig does not work on the Metabo Table Saw because the slots are cut farther away from the blade.. Which is a bummer because I use a ton of thin strips in my little shop..

Good video. Personally, I think the Magswitch is overpriced for a jig. I also dislike having to keep track of extra hardware and remember where I put it or how it attaches. Currently, the Sawmate is one-fourth the cost of the Magswitch if someone is just looking for a thin strip ripping jig. Think I would just make one.

i just got that saw mate, i like it but i wish it would lock in the miter slot so there is no movement, ill have to try a magswitch to keep it in place

Set up the saw stop totally wrong, you need to set the roller bearing against the carbide on the saw blade which is zero move it back and use the scale on the guide to set your thickness.

How do you keep it from sliding around in the miter slot while cutting?
