Показать описание
Make repeatable thin strips using this WoodRiver® Thin Rip Table Saw Jig. To set it up, install this jig in your table saw miter slot, and simply set the thickness of the strip desired. Measure the distance from the outside of the blade to the sealed bearing and lock the jig in place. Set the fence against the workpiece and rip to size. For repeatable strips, readjust the fence so the workpiece is touching the bearing and repeat the cut.

Features:

Works with any table saw with a 3/4" miter slot
Makes repeatable thin strips
Ratchet-like handle for easy hand tightening
Anodized for wear protection

What is the maximum distance allowed between the miter slot and the saw blade? I have the Ridgid R4512 and the slot is almost 6" away from the blade. There are other jigs on the market where this is too far. What about the Wood River jig? There is nothing on the Woodcraft website about the max spacing and nothing mentioned in this video.

What would come in handy is having an "arm" or brace about 4 or 5 inches back that can slip into the same miter slot so the work can slide against it, and be square to the blade. Wouldn't that make it better to line up the fence then also?

Is the scale on the jig adjustable to as to give an accurate reading on what width will be cut off?
